Ryan Blaney (@RyanBlaney22), driver of the No. 29 Cooper Standard Ford F-Series, will make his third career start at Texas Motor Speedway and his second in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series (NCWTS) during Friday night’s WinStar World Casino 400.
Blaney’s last start at Texas came last November during the O’Reilly Auto Parts Challenge in the NASCAR Nationwide Series (NNS), where he started 19th and finished second.
Doug Randolph will lead the No. 29 Ford F-Series team as crew chief in Texas.
The No. 29 BKR team currently sits fifth in the NCWTS drivers point standings, 44 points back from first and only 14 back from second.
“I’ve been looking forward to getting back to Texas all season, especially after finishing second in last Fall’s Nationwide race. Our Cooper Standard team has been making vast improvements all season on our Truck packages and I’m thrilled to have the opportunity to run wide-open at TMS this Friday night under the lights.” – Ryan Blaney
