Richmond Raceway (Richmond) and Eternal Fan® will be featured on the No. 66 Toyota Camry for MBM Motorsports in the 1000Bulbs.com 500 Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series Playoff race on Sunday, October 13. Joey Gase will be behind the wheel of the No. 66 promoting the Fan Memories® program at Richmond that allows loyal fans to preserve their treasured memories and keepsakes at America’s Premier Short Track for generations to come.
“Our partnership with Eternal Fan for the Fan Memories program offers another way for fans to remember their experiences at Richmond Raceway,” said Richmond President Dennis Bickmeier. “We are grateful for the opportunity for more fans to learn about the chance to share their memories at America’s Premier Short Track as NASCAR’s best take on Talladega Superspeedway in the NASCAR Playoffs.”
The No. 66 will sport the iconic red and black of Richmond. The race car will also showcase all of the components of the Fan Memories® program.
“Being a partner of Richmond Raceway and helping fans have an eternal relationship at the track is very rewarding for us,” said Matt Linn, President of Eternal Fan. “We are honored to help the great fans of NASCAR create their own legacy at America’s Premier Short Track. Richmond has pioneered this movement and we look forward to a bright future together with the track.”
“I am thrilled to represent Eternal Fan and the Fan Memories program at Richmond Raceway this weekend at Talladega Superspeedway,” said Joey Gase, driver of the No. 66 Toyota Camry for MBM Motorsports. “Our goal with this partnership is to show loyal race fans that they have the ability to leave their legacy at their favorite track as part of the Fan Memories program at Richmond.”
Richmond partnered with Eternal Fan to bring the Fan Memories® program to America’s Premier Short Track in 2018. There are two distinct parts of Fan Memories® at Richmond. First, NASCAR fans can safeguard their precious objects and memories in Shorty, The World’s Largest Racing Piston, located on the front stretch of the Midway. The 21-foot racing piston is home to Fan Spaces® which can be purchased to place cherished items that commemorate a special time at America’s Premier Short Track. There are private and shared Fan Spaces® available to create the legacy.
The Fan Memories® program also allows fans to secure their eternal relationship to Richmond with Fan Memories® plaques in the Eternal Fan Pedestrian Tunnel in the FanGrounds. The stainless-steel plaques are permanently installed in the Eternal Fan Pedestrian Tunnel for all to see. The plaques come in three different sizes with options to satisfy each fan looking to be an Eternal Fan at Richmond.
