Green Smoke® to Sponsor T.J. Bell in Coca-Cola 600

Green Smoke®, a leading producer of electronic cigarettes enjoyed around the globe, announced today that it will be the primary sponsor of T.J. Bell in the Coca-Cola 600 at Charlotte Motor Speedway on Sunday, May 27. Bell will be at the helm of the No. 32 Ford Fusion fielded by FAS Lane Racing. In addition, to help celebrate the sacrifices of our service men and women on Memorial Day weekend, Green Smoke® is hosting Jay Carrey, a 14-year military veteran who was injured on duty, through its support of the HERO organization.

Green Smoke® is a proud advocate of the HERO (Helping Early Responders Organization) organization and the 32 million Americans that put on a uniform every day to serve and protect us. It supports and assists the non-profit organizations that help firefighters, police officers, EMT’s and members of the armed services including their families in their time of greatest need by providing products, services and money. One recipient of the HERO organization’s support is Jay Carrey. Carrey is a decorated US Army and USAF veteran who served in Operation Iraqi Freedom, but suffered injuries during his enlistment that made him unable to continue his military career.

“It’s our honor to have Jay Carrey as our guest at Charlotte (Motor Speedway),” said Bell. “Fortunately the HERO organization and Green Smoke® are helping to support him. Jay is a hero in every sense of the word. He’s made invaluable contributions to our nation as a member of our armed forces. There’s no way we can repay him for the service and sacrifices he’s provided for our nation, but hopefully the race will be a nice way for us to offer a token of appreciation. We’ll be rolling out the red carpet for him and doing all we can to make this a special weekend for him.”

Green Smoke’s first NASCAR sponsorship was aboard Bell’s car in the 2011 Coca-Cola 600. Since then, it has served as a primary and associate sponsor for several vehicles in NASCAR’s top-three series. Green Smoke is a full-time sponsor of FAS Lane Racing in 2012 and plans to run at least four primaries this year with Bell behind the wheel. When it entered the sport, Green Smoke’s goal was to gain name recognition among consumers and drive online sales. The organization aims to take an additional step in its second year of involvement and partner with retail stores that support NASCAR. Bell is excited to continue his relationship with Green Smoke® at one of the sport’s most prestigious races.

“It’s great to have Green Smoke® back on our car for the Coca-Cola 600,” Bell said. “They’ve been a strong supporter of our sport over the past year and I appreciate all they’ve contributed. Racing has helped spread their name to millions of fans and helped boost their website activity. They’re looking to utilize their sponsorship this year as they start to partner with retailers. They’ve enjoyed success on and off the track and I’m proud that I’ve helped play a part in that.”

Bell has compiled two Nationwide Series starts and four Camping World Truck Series starts at Charlotte Motor Speedway. His best finish came in 2007, in which he started 11th and finished ninth in Truck Series competition.
