AfterShokz Signs NASCAR Drivers Chase Elliott and Bubba Wallace as Brand Ambassadors
AfterShokz, the award-winning headphone brand known for its patented bone conduction technology, announced today the signing of NASCAR drivers Chase Elliott and Bubba Wallace as professional athlete brand ambassadors. Elliott and Wallace are two of the most popular and accomplished young drivers in the sport of NASCAR with fast-growing fan bases.
“Signing on Chase and Bubba to represent the AfterShokz brand signifies a step forward in our efforts to bring brand awareness to millions of sports enthusiasts and especially race fans,” said AfterShokz Chief Operating Officer Bill Kimball. “Both are young, talented athletes who will bring the same passion and dedication to AfterShokz as they do to competing on the track.”
Elliott, the 2014 NASCAR Xfinity Series champion and 2016 NASCAR Cup Series Rookie of the Year, recently won his first career NASCAR Cup Series race to qualify for the NASCAR Playoffs for the third consecutive year.
“The open-ear design of AfterShokz headphones is so unique and different from the bulky headsets you typically see fans and drivers wearing at the track,” said Elliott. “Whether I’m walking through the racing garage or mountain biking on my day off, I’m able to safely listen to my music and still hear what’s going on around me.”
Wallace, a six-time NASCAR Truck Series winner, is competing in his rookie season in the NASCAR Cup Series as the first African-American driver to complete full-time in NASCAR’s top-level series in nearly five decades.
“AfterShokz makes the coolest product I’ve experienced in a while,” said Wallace. “The sound quality is as good as any other headphones I’ve used, and as a major bonus, I can stay connected to my surroundings while listening to my tunes. It is quickly becoming a new must-have whether I’m in the gym, at home, or at the race track.”
Elliott and Wallace will be featured in social media promotions and make personal appearances on behalf of the AfterShokz brand. Wallace is scheduled to appear at the AfterShokz booth during the 2019 International Consumer Electronics Show next January in Las Vegas.
