Ragan on Richmond
“I love the night race at Richmond. I’ve always preferred racing on Saturday night there, but at the same time I like mixing things up. And what’s good for one weekend might not be good for every weekend. So, I like the idea of having a Sunday race in the spring and a Saturday night race in the fall. I know we’re going back to two Saturday night races in 2018, but I’m a fan of mixing it up. I think that every race track on the schedule, if they have two races, they should have a different style weekend for one of those two.
“Richmond’s always been a pretty good track for me. Our Camping World/Good Sam team had a top-20 in the spring race this year, and I think we can have another good race. We’re looking forward to it.”
