Roush Fenway Racing will again utilize its award-winning ‘Driven’ Marketing program in support of National Breast Cancer Awareness month in October. The ‘Driven for a Cause’ campaign will use various elements to highlight cause awareness and support throughout the month.
All of Roush Fenway’s race cars will carry special ‘pink ribbon Driven logos’ in each of the month’s events. In addition, Greg Biffle will run a special pink Ford EcoBoost paint scheme on his No. 16 Ford Fusion at Charlotte Motor Speedway on Oct. 8. Other Roush Fenway Racing Fords will feature special pink numbers during the Charlotte event.
During the month of October, team owner Jack Roush will don a pink ‘Driven for a Cause’ shirt on NASCAR Sprint Cup Series race days in an effort to bring more awareness to the cause.
At Roush Fenway’s Annual Fall Fan Appreciation Day on Thursday, October 6, fans will be invited to participate in the pink-themed ‘Driven for a Cause’ selfie-booth, complete with pink props. Fans who utilize the social media platform Snap Chat and are onsite for Fan Day will also have the opportunity to use a special geofilter with the ‘Driven for a Cause’ logo. All participants are encouraged to share these photos with family and friends on social media using the #DrivenforaCause hashtag.
For fans with a sweet tooth, starting at 7 a.m. on Fan Day, Roush Fenway will have Krispy Kreme donuts on sale, with proceeds going to Carolina Breast Friends.
