Ask Dale Earnhardt, Jr. or any NASCAR driver and they will tell you how important the team behind them is on race day. When it comes to fundraising for their foundations, the team behind them is just as important and the team they turn to is The Charity Splits Company. Earlier this month, Charity Splits was on hand to help award the keys to a brand new 2011 Chevrolet Camaro SS to grand prize winner Gale Fontaine and a check for $144,000 to the Dale Earnhardt, Jr. Foundation raised from the raffle.

It was great to have them present as we gave away the Camaro; they were just as excited as our winner and proud to be a part of the donations we were able to make as a result of this raffle.”
The money raised from the “Win Dale Jr.’s Ride” promotion will in large part be devoted to help combat child hunger. According to U.S. Department of Agriculture statistics, in 2010 more than 16 million American children lived in households with low food security and 22 percent of children lived in poverty.
“We have been very fortunate to work with some tremendous athletes and their organizations,” said Charity Splits CEO Ryan West. “Our technology provides a turnkey solution for the raffles but as important to us is the impact we’ve been able to share in for so many. We are glad to have had the opportunity to help Dale and his team, raise money that will go to help children and families in need.”
