Once again, Petty Family Foundation is aiding with Operation North State this holiday season. The Foundation will again spend a morning filling gift boxes for North Carolina soldiers who are currently serving overseas. The boxes will be filled with North Carolina-themed items such as Our State Magazine, Bojangles seasoning, Richard Petty apparel and other favorite Tar Heel State gifts.
With nearly 700 boxes to be packaged and shipped, Petty Family Foundation is looking for volunteers to help pack these special gifts for North Carolina soldiers.
Volunteers are asked to come to Victory Junction on Wednesday, December 9th from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. and gather at the “Fuel Stop” located at:
Victory Junction
4500 Adam’s Way
Randleman, N.C.
“It’s an honor to once again partner with Operation North State to give our soldiers a taste of home,” said Rebecca Moffitt, Executive Director of the Petty Family Foundation. “The Petty family feels it’s important to remember those fighting for our freedom, especially those from our home state.”
Volunteers will not only be able to spend the morning at Victory Junction, but also be welcome to a lunch courtesy of Petty Family Foundation.
Volunteers should call Shannon Newman at 336-495-6643 for more information or email [email protected].
