“Loudon is one of those tracks that I can’t use my sprint car racing background on, so I have to learn how to find speed. It’s a different type of driving style. It’s a lot of rolling and braking and just knowing how not to over-slow the car — and not over-drive the car at the same time. That’s a fine line right there. You’ve got to be right in the middle and you’ve got to be perfect. It takes a lot of finesse.”
JUST THE FACTS: Whitt has three Sprint Cup career starts at New Hampshire Motor Speedway … His best finish is 28th (2014 and 2015) … Taco Bell returns as primary sponsor of the No. 35 Ford.
