FAS Lane Racing Welcomes Back Big Red Sponsorship for Six Races

FAS Lane Racing team owner Frank Stoddard is proud to announce that Big Red, Inc. will sponsor the team’s No. 32 entry in the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series for six of the remaining races in the 2011 season.  The No. 32 Big Red Ford will be piloted by Mike Bliss as the series heads to Chicagoland Speedway this weekend for the first event in the Chase for the NASCAR Sprint Cup.

“We are proud to welcome back Big Red as a sponsor for FAS Lane Racing,” stated team owner Frank Stoddard. “They have sponsored us two other races this year and with this new program they have coming out it seemed like a natural fit for some of these closing races of the season.  The team has done a great job all year in working hard and it shows with us being a new one car team in the top level of NASCAR and to be able to stay in the top-35.  We look for some strong outings here during these Chase races and representing Big Red and its products the best we can.”

Big Red will use this six (6) race sponsorship to debut a new and exciting product in the marketplace.  A further announcement on this program will be made in the coming days.
“We have some really cool and exciting things that we are debuting and we are excited that we were able to put something together with Frank and FAS Lane Racing,” said Gary Smith, CEO of Big Red, Inc.  “The team has been great to work with this year and this seems like a great match and perfect way to promote something new that we are coming out with.  We will be making an announcement in the next day or so that will surely create some excitement for everyone.”

FAS Lane Racing currently sits 34th in the ever important NASCAR Sprint Cup Series owner’s points.  The team is coming off a disappointing 36th place finish last week at Richmond after a blown right front tire and expired engine.
