Joey Logano captured the pole for Saturday’s SpongeBob SquarePants 400 at the Kansas Speedway. Logano posted a time of 28.067 seconds, 192.397 mph. in the final round to capture his fourth pole of the year.
Starting right beside him will be Kasey Kahne in the Great Clips Chevrolet. Kahne posted the second fastest time in the final round with a lap of 28.138 seconds, 191.911 mph. The Washington native will make his seventh start of the year from the top 10.
Brad Keselowski will be starting in the third position when the green flag drops on Saturday evening. Keselowski posted a time of 28.146 seconds, 191.857 mph. for his sixth top 10 start of the year.
Brennan Gaughan will go home after not making the race. Gaughan was the 44th fastest of the 44 cars that turned a lap in qualifying.
There were no on-track race incidents.
