Keselowski quickest again in second practice

Brad Keselowski showed the speed by putting up the fastest time in final Sprint Cup Series practice on Saturday. His quickest speed was 133.254 mph ().

Four-time Cup champ Jeff Gordon was second quickest and looks for his first win at the Magic Mile since August 1998. Gordon said during the FOX Sports 1 telecast that his team was good on race runs.

Denny Hamlin put up the third fastest speed with Dale Earnhardt, Jr. and Kevin Harvick rounding out the top five.

All of the top five in practice have won a Cup race on the 2014 season.

Jamie McMurray tested a few weeks ago with Chip Ganassi Racing and was sixth in practice. Carl Edwards, Kyle Busch, Martin Truex, Jr. and Kasey Kahne finished up the top 10 quickest in practice.

Kyle Larson was the fastest rookie in 14th.

It was unsure whether Timmy Hill was only practicing and qualifying the No. 87 car, but he is running the car in tomorrow’s race. Joe Nemechek was in Iowa Friday night with his son, John Hunter, for the Camping World Truck Series race.

Jimmie Johnson, who was fastest in Friday’s lone Cup practice, was 11th in the final practice Saturday morning.

Mike Bliss was the only driver not to take time in the practice in his No. 93 BK Racing Toyota.

The Camping World RV Sales 301 will set sail at 1 p.m. Sunday. It will also be TNT’s last NASCAR Sprint Cup Series race under the current TV deal.
