David Ragan, driver of the No. 34 Taco Bell Ford, comments on racing at Kentucky Speedway:
“Kentucky is a very unique racetrack. It’s not like all the other mile-and-a-half’s. It’s very abrasive and bumpy, so you’ve got to make sure you’ve got a good shock package and good handling to help with your ride quality around the track.
“We’ve only been running Cup races at Kentucky for the past three years or so. So, by no means is it the type of place that anybody’s got totally figured out, especially as the cars and the set-ups change from year to year. It’s also a race where we practice during the day and race at night, so that’s another factor that can be a challenge as we prepare for Saturday’s race.”
