Accell Construction Adds To Racing Program with Tommy Baldwin Racing

Accell Construction announced that the Oklahoma-based construction company added the Pure Michigan 400 to the company’s five primary and five associate race deal with Tommy Baldwin Racing (TBR). Dave Blaney will pilot the No. 36 Accell Construction Chevrolet at Michigan International Speedway Sunday, August 21st for Accell Construction’s six primary race of the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series season.

Accell Construction is a full-service site civil contractor for the petroleum terminal and bulk storage industries. The company specializes in tank farm construction, tank foundations and other related site civil construction. The 20-year-old company operates civil construction projects in numerous states across the U.S.

Blaney drove the No. 36 Accell Construction Chevrolet at Phoenix, Las Vegas, Bristol, Texas and Kansas. Accell Construction will be an associate sponsor for this weekend’s race at New Hampshire Motor Speedway as well as at the fall New Hampshire, Kansas, Texas and Phoenix races.

“We have seen the value of participating in NASCAR from a business standpoint,” explained Accell Construction owner Steve Todhunter. “We received requests from current and potential customers to get involved in the program and are happy to oblige them. We will have some customers going to MIS who are very excited to cheer on TBR and the Accell Construction Chevrolet.”

“We are thrilled Steve has seen the value of partnering with TBR, that means we have done our job as a race team,” explained TBR owner Tommy Baldwin. “Steve is really the one that helped us get into the top-35 by supporting us early in the year. We are excited to help him entertain his customers and find new ones.”

TBR will hit the track in the No. 36 Golden Corral Chevrolet, supported by Accell Construction this weekend at New Hampshire Motor Speedway for the Lenox Industrial Tools 301.
