Matt Kenseth to appear at free Q&A session at Dover

Fresh off a victory at the Monster Mile in the May 15 NASCAR Sprint Cup Series race, Matt Kenseth will return to Dover International Speedway this fall for a free question-and-answer session at the base of the Monster Monument at Victory Plaza, presented by AAA, at 10:45 a.m. on Sunday, Oct. 2.

The Q&A is free to all Sept. 30-Oct. 2, 2011 Dover ticket holders and gives fans a great opportunity to take a few photos of the most recent driver to conquer the Monster Mile.

A two-time winner at Dover, Kenseth made his NASCAR Sprint Cup Series debut at the Monster Mile in the September 1998 race, finishing sixth in his first event. He also was the 2003 NASCAR Sprint Cup Series champion and carries 20 career NASCAR Sprint Cup Series victories on his resume.

Following the Q&A, Kenseth will race in the Oct. 2 “AAA 400” NASCAR Sprint Cup Series race, the third event in the 10-race Chase for the NASCAR Sprint Cup. Currently, Kenseth sits in fifth place in the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series standings, and his two wins almost guarantee that he’ll have a spot in the 12-driver Chase field.

The Q&A with Kenseth is just one of numerous activities surrounding the Sept. 30-Oct. 2, 2011 race weekend at the Monster Mile, which includes the Sept. 30 NASCAR K&N Pro Series East race and the Oct. 1 “OneMain Financial 200” NASCAR Nationwide Series race.
