Reddick started 12th and ran inside the top 10 for much of the 150 lap, 225 mile race. On a night where the track conditions and temperature changed constantly, Reddick and Crew Chief Doug Randolph kept their truck neutral and avoided any handling issues.
Tyler had worked his way up to seventh place as a cycle of green flag pit stops began but the caution waved before Reddick made his scheduled stop. The end result was a big gain in track position for Reddick, who made his final stop for four tires and fuel on lap 115 and restarted second when the race went green on lap 118.
Over the final 32 laps Reddick did a nice job behind the wheel. He settled in to fourth place after the restart. His smooth lap times allowed him to steadily pull away from a close two truck battle for fifth spot.
