Caleb Holman and Henderson Motorsports plan to make their first restrictor plate start this Saturday, October 19th, at Talladega Superspeedway in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series. This Saturdays Fred’s 250 will be Holman’s first superspeedway start and Henderson Motorsports’ since the early 2000’s.
“I’m enthusiastic about this opportunity that the Henderson’s have given me. We bought this speedway truck from RCR (Richard Childress Racing) a few months ago and within the past month I’ve been down there throughout the week working. I can’t thank the guys at RCR enough for all of their hard work that they’ve invested in me and our team. There’s much more to speedway racing than what we’ve been doing and I’m grateful to them for their guidance,” said Holman.
Saturday will be Holman’s sixth start this year in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series with a career best finish, of 17th, at Bristol in August.
“I feel that our team has improved tremendously within the past year. It’s a direct reflection of abundant leadership from our crew chief, Butch Miller, and dedication on our guy’s part,” said team owner, Don Henderson. “We’re absolutely thrilled to go back speedway racing this weekend at Talladega!”
