Rain arrived early Saturday morning at Kansas Speedway delaying the start of ARCA Menards Series practice. ARCA officials later called off the timed qualifying session scheduled for 11:10 am ET. for practice instead.
Tanner Gray led ARCA practice, thus earning the pole for the Tide 150, posting a fast time 30.723s / 175.764 around the 1.5-mile Kansas Speedway. Gray enters the weekend with four top five and 10 top 10 finishes in the series as he looks for his first career win in the series.
Jake Finch sat second on the chart followed by Kris Wright, Lavar Scott, and Andres Perez.
Amber Balcaen, racing through an injury sustained last Friday at Dover, sat sixth on the speed chart. Remaining top 10 included Dean Thompson, Connor Mosack, Andy Jankowiak, and Tanner Reif.
