Landon Cassill turned in his best run of the Xfinity Series season Friday night, finishing 10th in the ToyotaCare 250 at Richmond International Raceway.
The race marked Cassill’s first top-10 finish of the season.
Cassill, driving the Flex Seal Chevrolet, qualified a strong 21st and climbed steadily through the field to roll into the top 10.
“Great car and a great night,” Cassill said. “This is what we’re used to doing. Didn’t think it would take us this long to get a top 10, but hopefully it gives us some momentum going forward.”
The finish boosted Cassill to 17th in the Xfinity driver standings.
