China Grove, NC – Viva Motorsports announced Monday that Brandon Gdovic will make his NASCAR XFINITY Series debut at the Texas Motor Speedway.
Gdovic, 23, will pilot the No. 55 WindStax Chevrolet Friday in the O’Reilly Auto Parts 300. The Virginian made numerous starts in various racing series including INEX Legend Cars, INCA Modifieds and NASCAR Wheelen All-American Series.
Gdovic has 47 NASCAR K&N Pro Series East starts over the last four years. He captured his one and only victory at the Greenville Pickens Speedway back in 2013. He has nine top five and 21 top 10 finishes in the series.
Extending his racing resume even further, Gdovic made two starts in the ARCA Racing Series last season.His best finish came in the season finale at the Kansas Speedway where he brought home an eighth place finish.
