No. 66 Let’s Go Places Toyota Camry driver Jeff Burton will make his second start of the 2014 season Sunday at New Hampshire Motor Speedway.
Burton, Brett Moffitt and Michael Waltrip will drive the No. 66 for Michael Waltrip Racing in a limited number of races in 2014. A newly formed partnership between MWR and Jay Robinson Racing will allow the No. 66 to compete in all NASCAR Sprint Cup races with Joe Nemechek as the primary driver.
CREW CHIEF CHAD WALTER ON TESTING AT NEW HAMPSHIRE: “We had a really good test a few weeks ago at New Hampshire. It was good to go up there and test at a track that Burton has had some success on. New Hampshire is one of Burtons favorite tracks and we learned a lot about what works. We showed a good amount of speed and I think we will be pretty good this weekend.”
ON JEFF BURTON: “I am pretty excited to get the opportunity to work with Burton who has a lot of experience. I think that it helps me to be able to approach the weekend with a lot of confidence. He obviously has a lot of success at New Hampshire. This could be Burton’s last time racing at New Hampshire so we are going to do everything that we can to try and get him into victory lane.”
