NASCAR K&N Pro Series West driver Greg Pursley has been penalized by NASCAR following his involvement in a May 4 incident at Stockton (Calif.) 99 Speedway.
Pursley, driver of the No. 26 car was found to have violated Section 12-1 (actions detrimental to stock car racing. Involved in an altercation with another competitor in the inspection area after the race had concluded.) of the 2013 rule book.
As a result of this violation, Pursley has been fined $500, suspended from NASCAR until the fine is paid and placed on NASCAR probation until June 19.
