Ross Chastain retained the 14th place in Xfinity Series driver points Saturday by finishing 27th in the Road America 180 over the Road America 4-mile course.
Chastain qualified 32nd and moved up to 27th over the course of the afternoon. He finished one lap down.
“Not our best day, but it’s tough on a new track,” Chastain said. “We learned a lot today, and I got some good laps in. We’ll move on to Darlington.”
