Chase Briscoe won Saturday’s inaugural NASCAR Xfinity Series price on the Indianapolis Motor Speedway road course. Briscoe survived a four-car battle for the win in the closing laps of Saturday’s race.

Driver No. 98 celebrated his victory on Saturday with his team by climbing the fence next to the yard of bricks, just as his team owner Tony Stewart used to do when he won.

“Everybody knows that I grew up and my hero in racing was Tony Stewart,” Briscoe said post-race. “To get to drive for him and watch him win the brickyard was always his signature thing and I just wanted to do it. Obviously, it is not the same prestige as winning on the oval but you still won at Indianapolis Motor Speedway.”

Briscoe won by outbreaking road course veteran Allmendinger into Turn 1 to take the lead with two laps to go. The top four cars would run two by two through Turns 1 and 2. Briscoe would keep his lead and pull away from Allmendinger and Cindric.

For Briscoe, this marks his fifth win this season in 13 races becoming only the second driver in Xfinity history to win as many races in the same time frame. Sam Are currently holds that record with six wins in the first 13 races of the season.

Rounding out the top five were Justin Haley in second, Noah Gragson in third, AJ Allmendinger in fourth and Austin Cindric in fifth.

Justin Haley’s runner-up finish is his best finish in six road course starts.

Rounding out the top ten were Ross Chastain in sixth, Justin Allgaier in seventh, Alex Labbe in eighth, Michael Annett in ninth and Preston Pardus in tenth.

Justin Allgaier, who finished seventh on Saturday will also be running in Sunday’s Brickyard 400 at Indianapolis Motor Speedway after 7-time Cup Series Champion Jimmie Johnson texted positive for Covid-19.

The NASCAR Xfinity Series will head into Kentucky Speedway on Thursday, July 9th at 8:00 p.m. Eastern on FS1 in the running of the Shady Rays 200.

Kevin Harvick won Saturday’s NASCAR Cup Series race at Pocono Raceway and his first win at the tricky triangle.

Driver No. 4 didn’t do any burnouts or celebrations after his win on Sunday citing empty grandstands and not having his team to celebrate with in victory lane.

“I’m not doing it anymore celebrations with nobody out there to celebrate with,” Harvick said post-race. “Until the fans come back I’m not doing a burnout, I’m not standing on the car, I’m not doing any of that stuff. It doesn’t feel right not having my team in victory lane.

Saturday’s win was Harvick’s 52nd Cup win of his career and now Harvick has officially won at every track on the current NASCAR Cup Series schedule expect for Kentucky Speedway and the Charlotte Motor Speedway Roval.

The start of Saturday’s race was delayed for near an hour to allow track workers to dry Pocono Raceway after rain from the morning. The NASCAR Gander Outdoor Truck Series race scheduled for Saturday was moved to Sunday at 9:30 a.m. Eastern on FS1.

Rounding out the top five were Denny Hamlin in second, Aric Almirola in third, Christopher Bell in fourth and Kyle Busch in fifth.

Rounding out the top ten were Martin Truex Jr. in sixth, Clint Bowyer in seventh, Michael McDowell in eighth, Brad Keselwoski in ninth and Chris Buescher in tenth. 

The second Cup race of the Pocono doubleheader will take place on Sunday at 4 p.m. Eastern. With the inversion on Sunday, Ryan Preece, who finished 20th on Saturday will start from the pole on Sunday.

Justin Haley won Saturday’s NASCAR Xfinity Series race at Talladega. Haley won in a three-lap finish to score his first Xfinity Series victory.

The final restart of the day was set up by a large wreck on the frontstretch with nine laps to go, It started when Noah Gragson was turned from his JR. Motorsports teammate Justin Allgaier. Other drivers involved in the crash were Tommy Joe Martins, Myatt Snider, Bradon Brown and Brandon Jones.

“First of all I want to dedicate the win to Nick Harrison and the Harrison family. He started this journey with me last year in my rookie year. Loosing him was pretty big,” Haley spoke with FS1 post-race about Nick Harrsion, who lost his life unexpectedly last year. “This is an incredible day. Emotionally, I’m fighting for a ride. Fighting for the next time I get in a racecar next year. Anytime you can win it definitely helps.”

Rounding out the top five were Ross Chastain in second, Jeb Burton in third, Austin Cindric in fourth and Brett Moffitt in fifth.

Ross Chastain, who finished second, earned him $100,000 in the Dash 4 Cash bonus.

Jeb Burton’s third place finish was his best Xfinity Series finish.

Burton started from the rear of the field after his car failed pre-race inspection three times.

Rounding out the top ten were Anthony Alfredo in sixth, AJ Allmendinger in seventh, Gray Gaulding in eighth, Alex Labbe in ninth and Noah Gragson in tenth.

The NASCAR Xfinity Series will head to Pocono Raceway at 12:30 p.m. Eastern on Saturday, June 28 on FS1.

Harrison Burton won Saturday’s NASCAR Xfinity Series race at Homestead-Miami Speedway.

Burton, who drives for Joe Gibbs Racing took the lead with just two laps to go, winning his second race of the season and the first in the Xfinity Series two race double header weekend.

With his win on Saturday, Burton becomes the third two-time winner of the 2020 Xfinity Series season along with Noah Gragson and Chase Briscoe.

“So much fun for me especially,” Burton told FOX Sports. “I gave him the lead on the outside early and I think he chose the inside because of that. I knew I couldn’t give it to him again.

“This is such a tight series and everyone is so so competitive that you kind of have to claw and dig every chance you get. This was one of those times where he kind of got loose and got under him and it was a good race. That’s for sure,”

Rounding out the top five were Austin Cindric in second, Noah Gragson in third, Anthony Alfredo in fourth and Dale Earnhardt Jr. finished fifth in his first race since Darlington last year and his only race for the season.

Rounding out the top ten were Michael Annett in sixth, Chase Briscoe in seventh, Brandon Jones in eighth, Ross Chastain in ninth and Riley Herbst in tenth.

The NASCAR Xfinity Series will return to Homestead-Miami Speedway tomorrow at 12:00 p.m. Eastern on Fox Sports 1.

AJ Allmendinger won Saturday’s NASCAR Xfinity Series race at Atlanta Motor Speedway.

Allmendinger, who is driving part-time this season for Kaulig Racing, earned his fourth career win in the Xfinity Series and first on an oval.

“I won on an oval. Do you like that? Whoo!” Allmendinger told Fox Sports after his win on Saturday afternoon.

“This car was awesome,” Allmendinger said. “This is Atlanta. The car was awesome on long runs, probably better than the driver early. Once I got in the lead, I was just trying to hit my marks, which is hard to do.”

Allmendinger was not originally scheduled to drive next weekend at Homestead-Miami Speedway but Kaulig Racing president Chris Rice told the media that they will field a car for Allmendinger in the second of four Dash 4 Cash races.

Noah Gragson, who finished second on Saturday, took home $100,000 dollars thanks to being the highest placing driver in the Dash 4 Cash.

Rounding out the top five were Noah Gragson in second, Justin Haley in third, Daniel Hemric in fourth and Harrison Burton in fifth.

Rounding out the top ten were Justin Allgaier in sixth, Ross Chastain. In seventh, Brandon Jones in eighth, Chase Briscoe in ninth and Anthony Alfredo in tenth.

The NASCAR Xfinity Series will head to Homestead-Miami Speedway on Saturday, June 13 at 3:30 p.m. ET on FOX and again on Sunday, June 14 at 12:00 p.m. ET on FS1. Dale Earnhardt Jr. is scheduled to drive the No. 8 on Saturday for JR Motorsports which he owns.

Brad Keselowski won Sunday’s Coca-Cola 600 in overtime, beating out Chase Elliott to win his first victory in NASCAR’s longest race of the year.

“I feel like I’ve thrown this race away a handful of times,” Keselowski told Fox Sports post-race. “I thought we were going to loose it today. I know we’ve lost it the way Chase lost it the way Chase lost it and I’m so happy for the team. I wish my wife was here, I wish my daughters were here. It’s a major. It’s the Coke 600. That leaves one major for me. The Daytona 500. We’re checking them off.”

Keselwoski’s win on Sunday is the first win from Ford since 2002 in the Coke 600.

Jimmie Johnson, who originally finished second, failed post-race inspection and received a disqualification. The No. 48 failed the rear-end alignment in the oss station post-race.

Rounding out the top five were Chase Elliott in second, Ryan Blaney in third, Kyle Busch in fourth and Kevin Harvick in fifth.

Elliott who was leading with three laps to go pitted under caution and would restart 11th. This would give Keselowski the lead.

Chase Elliott on the fallout of pitting under the final caution: “those guys are going to do the opposite of whatever we do. That’s just part of it. You make decisions and live with them. It wasn’t the pit call. I think being on offense is fine.”

Denny Hamlin, who won Wednesday nights race at Darlington chances to make it back to back wins were dashed before the green flag waved. A piece of ballast fell off Hamlin’s car during the pace laps and would have to get it repaired on pit road before the start of the race. Hamlin started the race eight laps down and finished 29th.

The NASCAR Cup Series returns to Charlotte Motor Speedway Wednesday night in a 500 kilometer race at 8:00 p.m. Eastern on Fox Sports 1.

Matt Kenseth is coming out of retirement to drive the No. 42 for Chip Ganassi Racing for the remainder of the 2020 season, CGR confirmed on Monday.

“I have always said that when we have to fill a driver spot, that I owe it to our team, our partners and our fans to put the best available driver in the car. We are doing exactly that with Matt,” Chip Ganassi said in a statement issued on Monday.

Kenseth said in statement: “This was an unexpected opportunity for sure. I can’t say racing was even on my radar two weeks ago. After spending some time thinking about it and all the unique circumstances surrounding all of us right now, it just seemed the timing and the opportunity was perfect to come back.”

Kenseth (48) last competed in the NASCAR Cup Series in 2018, running a part-time schedule for Roush Fenway Racing.

The 2003 Cup series champion has compiled 39 career series wins throughout his career, including two wins in the Daytona 500. His last win came at Phoenix Raceway in 2017 driving for Joe Gibbs Racing.

Kenseth replaces Kyle Larson, who was suspended by NASCAR and fired by the team on April 14th for using a racial slur during an iRacing event.

NASCAR is looking to return on May 17th at Darlington Raceway, per sources. Kenseth would have to obtain a waiver from NASCAR to be eligible for the playoffs since he hasn’t competed this season.

Brandon Jones won Saturday’s NASCAR Xfinity Series race at Phoenix Raceway. Jones passed his Joe Gibbs Racing teammate Kyle Busch with 20 laps to go and was able to hold off the NASCAR Cup Series champion to win for the second time in his career. His other win came at Kansas Speedway last October.

For Toyota, this was their 500th win in NASCAR.

Kyle Busch, who started from the pole on Saturday, was chasing his 12th career Xfinity Series win at Phoenix. Busch led a race-high 78 laps, but was passed by Jones in the final 20 laps.

Last week’s winner at Fontana, Harrison Burton, also passed Busch and finished runner-up to Brandon Jones on Saturday.

Rounding out the top five were Brad Keselowski in fourth and Justin Haley in fifth.

Rounding out the top ten were Chase Briscoe in sixth, Noah Gragson in seventh, Austin Cindric in eighth, Ross Chastain in ninth and Riley Herbst in tenth.

Following the conclusion of Saturday’s race, Dillion Bassett and Brandon Brown and their crew chiefs got into an altercation on pit road. Bassett reached into Brown’s car while he was parked on pit road after the race. The two drivers had previously made contact on Lap 137.

Both met with NASCAR after the race.

The NASCAR Xfinity Series will head to Atlanta Motor Speedway, Saturday March 14th in the running of the EchoPark 250 with coverage beginning at 4 p.m. ET on FS1.

Alex Bowman won Sunday’s Auto Club 400 at Auto Club Speedway. Bowman dominated, leading 110 of the 200 lap race en route to his victory.

Sunday marked the second NASCAR Cup Series career win for the Arizona native. His first win came at Chicagoland Speedway last year.

The 26-year-old beat out second place Kyle Busch by 8.9 seconds.

Bowman spoke with Fox Sports following Sunday’s victory:

“I’ll take it after last week. I wish we would have had three,” Bowman told Fox Sports post-race. “We’ve been good to start this season. We started the season very poorly over the last two years and it just means the world to show up at the race track and have the first run be almost perfect and just be able to fine-tune the race car. Greg Ives has made the right calls. We’ve got to go win a bunch more, but man, it feels good to have one this early.”

Rounding out the top five were Kyle Busch in second, Kurt Busch in third, Chase Elliott in fourth and Brad Keselowski in fifth.

Rounding out the top ten were Denny Hamlin in sixth, Jimmie Johnson in seventh, Aric Almirola in eighth, Kevin Harvick in ninth and Erik Jones in tenth.

Johnson, who finished seventh had a pretty strong showing in his final race at his hometown track of Auto Club Speedway leading 10 laps and earning a top ten finish.

Johnson’s family was on hand to wave the green flag at the start of Sunday’s race.

Ryan Blaney, who led 54 laps on Sunday and looked to possibly bring home the win for Penske Racing had an issue with his right rear tire and was forced to pit on Lap 197 of 200. Blaney would finish 19th.

The NASCAR Cup Series will head to Phoenix Raceway next Sunday in the Fan Shield 500 with coverage beginning at 3:30 p.m. ET on FOX.

Chase Briscoe won Sunday’s NASCAR Xfinity Series race at Las Vegas Motor Speedway. The race was postponed after Lap 51 on Saturday due to rain and rescheduled for Sunday one hour following the NASCAR Cup Series race.

Briscoe led 89 laps in route to his victory on Sunday.

“That was really a team win,” Briscoe told FS1 post-race. “We were really good, then as soon as the sun went down when we were in the dirty air, we just weren’t really good. In clean air obviously there at the end we were really good. This is something I feel we can do all year long.”

The Stewart-Haas Racing driver beat out second place Austin Cindric by nearly three seconds to claim his third career NASCAR Xfinity Series win.

Rounding out the top five were Austin Cindric in second, Ryan Sieg in third, Noah Gragson in fourth and Harrison Burton in fifth.

Rounding out the top ten were Brandon Jones in sixth, Michael Annett in seventh, Justin Allgaier in eighth, Riley Herbst in ninth and Ross Chastain in tenth. Chastain, who ran in Sunday’s NASCAR Cup Series race filling in for Ryan Newman had to go directly from Newman’s car to his full-time Xfinity Series ride.

The NASCAR Xfinity Series will head into Auto Club Speedway in the running of the Production Alliance Group 300 on Feb. 29 at 4 p.m. ET on FS1.
