In an 11th hour marketing partnership agreement, Atlanta, Georgia-based Kill Cliff will adorn the role as the primary marketing partner for Denver, North Carolina native Matt Carter in Saturday night’s NRA American Warrior 300 at Atlanta (Ga.) Motor Speedway.
The partnership formed thanks to Carter’s affiliation with his personal charity, the Lone Survivor Foundation (LSF). Atlanta-based Kill Cliff, another supporter of Texas-based LSF, will surge into the Motor Speedway by supporting Carter’s ride in the No. 39 Ford Mustang fielded by Go Green Racing (GGR).
The Lone Survivor Foundation was organized in 2010 by Petty First Class Officer United States Navy Seal (ret.) Marcus Luttrell and is headquartered in Houston, TX. The Foundation’s mission is to “…restore, empower and renew hope for our wounded warriors and their families using therapeutic support, health and wellness, inspiration, and nature, while emphasizing camaraderie, understanding, respect, and pride.” The Foundation currently provides therapeutic ranch retreats to the men, women, and families that suffer from serious combat injury. The retreats, which are currently held on donated ranches, are focused on stabilizing the family structure, and use methods not readily available in typical government institutions.
Introduced in 2011 by a former Navy SEAL, Kill Cliff is The Recovery Drink, formulated with a proprietary mix of premium ingredients to aid those recovering from strenuous exercise and physical exertion. Kill Cliff is a lightly carbonated beverage delivering anti-inflammation supporting ingredients and electrolytes without all the empty caloric content found in energy drinks. In keeping with the company’s roots, one of the main driving forces behind Kill Cliff™ is the goal to give back to the military community at large, including select charities such as the Lone Survivor Foundation.
“I am very excited to be representing Kill Cliff this weekend at Atlanta,” said Carter, who competed for Go Green Racing last fall at AMS. “It’s awesome to bring Kill Cliff to the NASCAR Nationwide Series where together we have a goal of educating the public about the benefits of the Lone Survivor Foundation. Everyone at Kill Cliff has been awesome to work with and very supportive towards our efforts on Saturday night. Hopefully, we can have a good race and bring home a strong finish.”
Last September, the 31-year old Carter qualified the No. 39 CarportEmpire.com / Bennett Steel Structures Ford Mustang 23rd before racing to a very respectable 17th place finish in the Great Clips 300. Clinton Cram will serve as the crew chief for GGR on Saturday night.
“Words cannot express how thankful I am to have the opportunity to race with Go Green Racing again in Atlanta,” offered Carter. “We’re shooting for a top-15 on Saturday night and with our dedication and a little luck, we should be able to achieve that.”
