Sparrow Ranch On The Island Partners With JD Motorsports

Sparrow Ranch on the Island is teaming up with JD Motorsports with Gary Keller in the NASCAR Xfinity Series.

Sparrow Ranch, a non-profit 501(c)(3) Christ centered ministry for those with special needs and their families, will appear as an associate partner on all four JD Motorsports Chevrolets in the season opening NASCAR Xfinity Series race this Saturday at Daytona International Speedway.

“This is such a huge blessing,” said Sparrow Ranch founder Ricky Teal. “Annie Fritz, our racing outreach coordinator, introduced me to Johnny Davis about this time last year and we have spoken off and on several times since then. I have been drawn to Johnny’s life story from day one. I really can’t explain it, but on Tuesday night Johnny sent me a text to tell me that our foundation would be on all four of his cars at Daytona and by 5 p.m. the next day his PR team was sending me photos of each car.

“Honestly I had tears in my eyes as I saw the photos. I am very thankful for what JD Motorsports has done for me and my friends with special needs. We hope that the values that Sparrow Ranch are built on can bring a positive effect to JD Motorsports and be a beacon of light to the broken hearted and less fortunate.”

This is the second racing related partnership announcement by Sparrow Ranch in the last week. The ministry recently partnered with All Out Motorsports to promote RUN THE RACE, an inspirational family film, on the No. 7 Toyota that will be driven by Korbin Forrister in the NASCAR Gander Outdoors Truck Series opener on Friday at Daytona International Speedway.

“I feel so fortunate to have connected with two awesome teams that see value in the work the Lord has led us to do,” Teal said. “We were also able to bring along the movie RUN THE RACE on board for this deal for Daytona with JD Motorsports. I believe in this movie with all my heart and I feel it has the potential to reach the world with a positive message and I hope by this exposure through NASCAR will encourage people to go to theaters on Feb. 22 to see this amazing movie that was executive produced by Tim and Robby Tebow.”

JD Motorsports will be represented by Scott Lagasse Jr. in the No. 4 Chevrolet, Garrett Smithley in the No. 0 Chevrolet, Stephen Leicht in the No. 01 Chevrolet and B.J. McLeod in the No. 15 Chevrolet this Saturday at Daytona International Speedway. For more information about JD Motorsports, visit www.teamjdmotorsports.com.
