Spencer Boyd Welcomes Back Grunt Style for Fourth Season

Spencer Boyd Racing confirmed today that veteran-owned lifestyle brand, Grunt Style, is returning as a sponsor for the 2019 season.  Boyd will drive a full schedule in the No. 20 Chevrolet Silverado for Young’s Motorsports in the NASCAR Gander Outdoors Truck Series in 2019.

“Grunt Style has been with me since my first season in NASCAR,” says Boyd.  “Their support over the years has allowed me to race and form new relationships in this sport.  We both have a great deal of pride in the bond we’ve built and look forward to keeping things fresh in 2019.”

The lifestyle brand, founded by former Army drill sergeant Daniel Alarik, has taken the American fighting spirit and instilled it in everything they do.  “We love the grit Spencer has,” remarks Grunt Style’s CEO.  “He fits our brand and is a great representative of what we believe at Grunt Style.  We know the fire in his belly will lead to great things this season and we’re proud to be a part of it.”

The partnership will highlight some of the charitable work they collaborate on such as their association with Tragedy Assistance Program for Survivors (TAPS).  At select races this season, a fallen military hero will be honored with his or her name on Spencer’s race truck above the passenger-side door and the hero’s surviving loved ones in attendance at the race.

Home of the ‘Beer Guarantee’ where everything is guaranteed for life, Grunt Style will soon release a new shirt for fans of Spencer “The Bald Eagle” Boyd.  An excited Boyd said, “This shirt is going to be awesome.  It is the best of both of our brands and I encourage everyone to get it while they last.  I’m also proud to continue the honor that if you are a veteran of our Armed Forces, actively serving, or are law enforcement/fire/first responder you are welcome to sign your name on my truck any time.”

The NextEra Energy 250 at Daytona International Speedway on February 15, 2019 marks the location of the first race where Grunt Style will appear on the Young’s Motorsports No. 20 Chevrolet Silverado.
