Ross Chastain is eager to be back in the No. 4 JD Motorsports with Gary Keller Chevrolet Camaro for the 2018 NASCAR Xfinity Series season. Flex Seal will once again kick off the racing season as the primary sponsor on board the No. 4 Chevy for the PowerShares QQQ 300 at Daytona International Speedway on February 17th, 2018.
Chastain has raced at Daytona six times in the Xfinity Series, and has collected three top-ten finishes at the “World Center of Racing.” Most recently, Chastain finished 6th in July of 2017 at Daytona.
“I’ve got a really great feeling about this season,” said Chastain. “Every year that I’ve been racing with JD Motorsports, we have grown and got better. I fully believe that this will be our year. My No. 4 team put in a lot of hard work over the winter, and we’ve got our loyal partner Flex Seal back on board with us. This Saturday at Daytona is going to be the start of our best season of racing yet.”
The NASCAR Xfinity Series with take over the track for the first time in 2018 on Friday with practice scheduled for 12:05 p.m. and 2:05 p.m. (ET) Friday. Qualifying will start at 9:35 a.m. on Saturday, and the PowerShares QQQ 300 will get the green flag at 2:30 p.m. (ET) on FS1.
