Ross Chastain brought the No. 4 JD Motorsports with Gary Keller Chevrolet Camaro home in 28th place at Richmond Raceway in the Virginia529 College Savings 250 NASCAR Xfinity Series race.
Chastain qualified 21st for the Friday night race.
“We had a very strong run going at the start of the race,” Chastain said. “We fell back around lap 100, and the long green flag runs hurt us. The No. 4 team brought a great racecar, and I’m excited to be back at it again this week in Chicago.”
The series moves on to Chicagoland Speedway for the Chicago 300 on Saturday, September 16th.
