Quin Houff commits to NASCAR XFINITY races at Iowa and Kentucky with PPM

After a 15th place NASCAR XFINITY Series debut at Bristol Motor Speedway and successful run at Richmond International Raceway with Precision Performance Motorsports (PPM), Quin Houff has committed to race Iowa and Kentucky behind the wheel of PPM’s No. 46 Chevrolet Camaro.

The 19-year-old Virginia-native had surprising success in his debut at Bristol Motor Speedway, where after only one practice, he raced the “Beatin’ Cancer with Duke” Chevrolet steadily through the field into the top 10 but was relegated to a 15th place finish after a late race caution restart.

“I am so excited to sign on with PPM for two more races”, said Quin. “I can’t wait to go experience bigger tracks in the NASCAR Xfinity series, and continue to grow as a driver and a team. We turned a lot of heads with our solid runs at Bristol and Richmond. I truly believe we can get two more solid finishes at Iowa and Kentucky. It’s a dream come true to be able to add two more races and I’m very blessed to be able to continue to pursue/live my dream. Can’t wait to see how these two races play out and what the Lord has in store for me down the road!”

“It’s very exciting for myself and our whole PPM team to have this opportunity to work with Quin again”, said Crew Chief Mark Setzer. “He did an awesome job during his first two races showing how strong our Precision Performance Motorsports team is. We are really looking forward to helping Quin as he continues to learn more about these Xfinity series cars and new tracks as we move forward. I see, as everyone else did during the Bristol and Richmond events, what a talent Quin is and we look to show that again at Iowa and Kentucky.”
The American Ethanol E15 250 Presented by Enogen will be held at Iowa Speedway on June 24, 2017 and the Alsco 300 at Kentucky Speedway on July 7, 2017. Both races and their preceding practices and qualifying events will be televised in their entirety. The Iowa race will be televised on Fox Sports 1 and the Kentucky event will be televised on NBC Sports Network.
