Ross Chastain finished 19th in Saturday’s Sparks Energy 300 at Talladega Superspeedway.

Chastain ran with the front group most of the day and drafted in 1-2-3 fashion with JD Motorsports with Gary Keller teammates Garrett Smithley and Harrison Rhodes.

Chastain led lap 90 in his G&K Services Chevrolet.

“It was a great afternoon,” said Chastain. “All of the JD Motorsports cars were running great, and we were able to stick together most of the day. It was fun to run up there.”
