EVENT NOTES

Andrew "Bubba" Pollard will make his second career NASCAR Xfinity Series (NXS) start this weekend, piloting the No. 26 SANY America GR Supra for Sam Hunt Racing at Martinsville Speedway.

Pollard made his NXS debut earlier this season at Richmond Raceway, finishing sixth after starting at the tail of the field.


Pollard, a 37-year-old Senoia, Georgia native, is one of short track racing's most decorated veterans, collecting over 100 late model victories throughout his career.
He's a 15-time late model champion across several different championships.
He's racked up wins in nearly every big late model event including the Rattler 250, the All American 400, the Lee Fields Memorial, Slinger Nationals, the Snowflake 100 and many more.

Pollard is a multi-time competitor in the late model stock car event at Martinsville Speedway, giving him experience at the half-mile Paperclip.
