EVENT NOTES
Ryan Truex will make his 101st career NASCAR Xfinity Series (NXS) start this weekend, piloting the No. 26 Toyota Genuine Parts GR Supra for Sam Hunt Racing at Homestead-Miami Speedway.
Saturday's event will mark Truex's second career start with Sam Hunt Racing.
Truex piloted the No. 26, kicking off the 2022 season, at Daytona International Speedway where he finished 12th.
Truex has three career NXS wins, two of which he collected this season (Dover, Daytona).
Truex has 10 starts in 2024, collecting 2 wins, three Top-5, and 6 top-10 finishes.
Sam Hunt Racing made its series debut at Homestead-Miami Speedway in 2019 with rookie driver Colin Garrett. In its debut, the team shocked the industry by qualifying 15th. The 26 team finished 21st.
