In 14 NASCAR Cup Series starts at the track, he posted a pair of top-five finishes and five top-10s, including a ninth-place result last October. - LAS VEGAS RECAP: Almirola finished 13th in last weekend’s race at Las Vegas Motor Speedway. Almirola fought a mechanical issue late in the race before ultimately finishing 13th.

What is it going to take to win this weekend at Homestead-Miami Speedway?
“Homestead is a very fun track because there are a lot of options. We know you’re most likely going to have to run right up on the fence, as close as possible to make the most speed. We’ve seen it year after year there. That makes it a lot of fun as a driver, but it’s also very challenging. I’m excited to go there this weekend. I have a lot of confidence in Tyler (Allen, crew chief) and what we’re bringing, so it’s just going to be a matter of making it happen in the race.”
