EVENT NOTES

Corey Heim will make his 16th career NASCAR Xfinity Series (NXS) start this weekend, piloting the No. 26 Endava GR Supra for Sam Hunt Racing at Kansas Speedway, his favorite track on the circuit. Heim, who is leading the wins column in the NASCAR CRAFTSMAN Truck Series (NCTS) so far in 2024 with five wins, will make his NXS track debut at Kansas Speedway. In his NCTS career, Heim has one win and three top-five finishes at Kansas Speedway out of five starts. Heim has 15 NASCAR Xfinity Series starts, including three Top-5 and five Top-10 finishes. Heim is on a hot streak in the NASCAR CRAFTSMAN Truck Series, scoring 11 top-five and 15 Top-10 finishes across 18 starts in 2024. Heim has five NCTS wins this season alone. He has also collected seven stage wins and has led 534 laps. In Heim’s latest NXS race at Atlanta Motor Speedway, he came home fifth after nearly grabbing the win on the final lap.
