Fastenal to Sponsor Nationwide Points Leader Stenhouse Jr. at Montreal

Earlier this year at Charlotte Motor Speedway, fans witnessed three Fastenal-branded cars running in a single Nationwide race. This weekend, they’ll see two. Fastenal, a regular primary on Carl Edwards’ No. 60, will also sponsor current Nationwide points leader Ricky Stenhouse Jr. in this week’s Nationwide race at Circuit Gilles Villeneuve in Montreal, Canada.

Fastenal’s blue and white colors will be featured on two of the fastest cars in the series. The all-star lineup includes the No. 60 Fastenal Ford Mustang driven by series champion Carl Edwards – who has already chalked up five Nationwide Series victories this season – as well as the No. 6 Ford Fastenal Mustang of 2010 Nationwide Series Rookie of the Year Ricky Stenhouse, who has captured two victories this season by sweeping at Iowa Speedway.

“It’s great to have Fastenal on board at Montreal,” Stenhouse said.  “We had a great run with the Fastenal Ford Mustang when they were on our car at Charlotte back in May and hopefully we can have a solid finish for them on Saturday afternoon.”

“You have to like your odds anytime you start a race with Carl and Ricky behind the wheel,” added Steve Rucinski, Fastenal’s Executive Vice President, International Sales. “It’s a great opportunity to spotlight our brand for Canadian race fans.”

The two Roush Fenway teams bring a combined seven Nationwide wins along with 23 top-five finishes and 33 top-10 finishes this season. As a whole, Roush Fenway’s Nationwide program boasts 121 victories, 415 top fives, 643 top 10s, two championships and has led over 20,300 laps it its illustrious history.
