TriStar Motorsports Post-Race Report: Dover International Speedway

Below are the Post-Race results for TriStar Motorsports for the Dover 200:

Blake Koch Finishes 23rd: Blake Koch qualified 29th for the Dover 200 on Saturday afternoon. The team made adjustments to Koch’s No. 44 Camry and was ready to race 200 laps. Early into the race when an early caution flag waved, Koch brought his Camry to pit road for adjustments and Sunoco Racing fuel. Koch reported that his Camry was loose after the adjustments that were made on the first stop. When the second caution flag waved, Koch came to pit road for four fresh tires, fuel and adjustments. On lap 67, Koch was running in the 24th position. When a late race caution flag waved, Koch reported to his team that his Camry was good, but he needed to be tightened up. Koch brought the No. 44 Camry to pit road for four tires, fuel and adjustments. With 14 laps to go, Koch was running 24th and would advance one position to finish 23rd.

Jeff Green Finishes 26th: In his final race with the No. 14 Hefty®/Reynolds Wrap® team, Jeff Green qualified 32nd. Early into the race, Green reported that his Camry was extremely loose while running 33rd. The team pitted for adjustments and fuel under caution. Green restarted 28th after that caution and once the second caution flag waved he brought his Camry to pit road for four tires, fuel and more adjustments. These adjustments, unfortunately, made the No. 14 Hefty®/Reynolds Wrap® Camry tighter and Green was scored in the 26th position. With 14 laps to go, Green was scored in the 26th position and would maintain that position and finish the race 26th.

Mike Bliss Finishes 29th: Mike Bliss and the No. 19 Support Military Foundation Camry qualified 15th for the Dover 200. Early into the race, Bliss was running in the 14th position. On lap 7, Bliss radioed in and reported that his Camry was tight. Once the second caution flag waved, Crew Chief Paul Clapprood radioed to Bliss and stated they would make a track bar adjustment. Unfortunately, Bliss came to pit road due to a right rear shock coming loose. The team went to the garage to repair the shock and Bliss came back out on track 16 laps down. With 93 laps to go, Bliss was running 30th when the track-bar mount on the No. 19 Camry broke. The No. 19 Camry retired from the race and posted a 29th place finish.
