Lake Forest Hearing Sponsors Earnhardt At Road America

Lake Forest Hearing, which focuses on hearing protection for those involved in all aspects of auto racing, will sponsor Jeffrey Earnhardt’s No. 4 Chevrolet in Saturday’s Gardner Denver 200 Nationwide Series race at Road America.

Lake Forest Hearing has been the official hearing protection partner of Road America for three years and will have a tent at the speedway Thursday through race weekend offering hearing safety products for adults, children, infants – even pets.

“I’m a big car enthusiast, and I’m passionate about that and about protecting the hearing of the drivers, pit crews and spectators,” said audiologist Dr. Lori Halvorson. “There has been a lot of discussion in racing about helmets and firesuits and gloves and other things but not a lot about hearing protection. We’ve been very involved with that and hope to do a lot more with NASCAR. We’re very passionate about the sport.”

Earnhardt, running his first full season in the Nationwide Series, will carry Lake Forest Hearing colors on the JD Motorsports with Gary Keller Chevrolet in Saturday’s race.

“We’re thrilled to have the folks at Lake Forest Hearing on board this week,” Earnhardt said. “Obviously, our sport is ‘loud,’ in more ways than one. Hearing protection is something everyone in and around the sport needs to be concerned about. We hope our partnership with Lake Forest Hearing this weekend can add emphasis to that.”

Lake Forest Hearing has offices in Lake Forest, Ill. and Northfield, Ill. but works with racing events all across the country.
