After starting on the pole two weeks in a row, the newcomer Jesse Love taking over the No. 2 for Richard Childress Racing would go wire to wire in the first stage of the day with only a few challenges to his lead. Herbst and Kligerman would both attempt challenges to take over the lead, but neither would be able to gain any help to get an additional line going to make the move for the lead.

Following Love’s win in the stage would be Herbst, Mayer, Truex, and Kligerman rounding out the top-five finishers in the first stage.

Through the first stage of the day Josh Williams would have multiple issues for tires going down on his No. 11 machine resulting in two stops on pit road to put new tires on the car ending the stage eight laps down.

Stage two would be slowed once for an incident between Yeley and Weatherman that would send Yeley spinning down the front into turn one. Nemechek would also have an issue during the stage when he would tag and ride the wall around three and four before peeling himself off and getting back to pit road without bringing out a caution.

Love would once again take the second stage of the win after leading all but two of the laps in the second stage of the day followed by Allgaier, Herbst, Truex, and S. Smith.

As the final stage was coming to a close with Love in cruise control two cars of Custer and Herbst would run out of fuel at the exact same time followed by Sieg and Deegan slowing and nearly coming to a stop on the track forcing NASCAR to throw the caution just short of the white flag setting up an overtime situation.

When the pits opened, Love would stay out on track in the lead with six other cars including Truex, Kligerman and others. This would prove to be the wrong move when Kligerman would first run out of fuel on the restart, followed by race leader Jesse Love who would end up finishing in 12th.

Austin Hill would motor past the cars out of fuel with Chandler Smith and Shane Van Gisbergen in tow to take home the back to back victory after winning last week in Daytona and his third win at his home track.

The NASCAR Xfinity Series returns to Las Vegas Motor Speedway next Saturday, March 2nd at 5:00 p.m. ET on FS1.
