  • SMITH AT ATLANTA:Chandler Smith will make his third NASCAR Xfinity Series (NXS) start at his home track, Atlanta Motor Speedway (AMS), this weekend. In his most recent start at AMS, Smith started from the pole position. He also has two NASCAR CRAFTSMAN Truck Series (NCTS) starts at AMS with one top-five finish. Smith hails from Talking Rock, Georgia, about two hours north of the 1.54-mile track.
  • PREVIOUS RACE RECAP: Smith has a strong Joe Gibbs Racing (JGR) debut at Daytona International Speedway during the NXS season opener on Monday night. Smith stayed out of trouble all night at the 2.5-mile superspeedway. He finished 20th in Stage 1 and 15th in Stage 2. The team positioned themselves for a great chance at the win, starting second for the final restart. The No. 81 Mobil 1 Toyota GR Supra crossed the finish line fifth, giving him a great start to the 2024 season.
  • QUICKTIE: Quick Tie Products, Inc., (“QuickTie”) manufactures and distributes the QuickTie™ System, a proprietary, patented hold down system for high wind and seismic construction. The QuickTie™ System comprises wire rope cables with threaded rod studs swaged to each end, each with a steel bearing plate on the top end.   • JGR AT ATLANTA: JGR has posted six NXS victories at AMS, including one win in each of the last seasons. In 69 combined starts at the 1.54-mile quad-oval, the organization has tallied 22 top-five finishes, 38 top-10s, five pole awards, and 982 laps led. Christopher Bell, Kyle Busch, and Ty Gibbs join Nemechek on the list of drivers who have taken JGR to victory lane in Atlanta.
