Eli Young Band to play free post-race concert following Nationwide Race at Nashville

The Eli Young Band, a Republic Nashville-signed music group, will play a free, post-race concert for race fans immediately following the conclusion of the July 23 “Federated Auto Parts 300” NASCAR Nationwide Series race at Nashville Superspeedway. The race is scheduled to begin at 6:30 p.m. and the post-race concert is free to all ticket holders.

Riding the success of their chart-topping single “Crazy Girl,” the Denton, Texas-based Eli Young Band has launched itself into the country music scene in a big way this year. The song was the No. 1 most added single at “Billboard” and the No. 2 most added at Mediabase. It also topped the iTunes Country Singles chart, with the “Crazy Girl EP” climbing to No. 1 on the iTunes charts as well in the Country Album category.
The full album that features “Crazy Girl” was produced by Mike Wrucke and is due out in stores on Aug. 16, 2011. The Eli Young Band has been tirelessly touring during the past 12 months leading up to the album’s release, and is generating acclaim from “People” magazine, “USA Today,” “Billboard,” “The New Yorker” and many other media outlets.
Joining the Eli Young Band in the race weekend lineup of featured musicians will be MCA Nashville recording artist Dani Flowers, a fresh face to country music that will perform “The Star Spangled Banner” prior to the July 23 race.
