Sage Karam and the No. 26 CRC Brakleen GR Supra team will kick off the 2024 season at Daytona International Speedway on Saturday, February 17. The United Rentals 300 at Daytona will be the start of Karam's partial schedule in the NASCAR Xfinity Series.
2024 is Karam's third season participating in the NASCAR Xfinity Series. He also competed in the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series as well.

Skipping his senior prom to qualify in the Indy 500, the 28-year-old racer from Nazareth, PA, continues to make sacrifices to live out his dream of racing at the highest level. Whether it’s NASCAR, Rallycross, IMSA, or IndyCar, Sage continues to impress whenever he gets behind the wheel.
Karam's most recent start with Sam Hunt Racing was competing for the win on the final laps at Road America where he finished 4th.

Karam has one previous NXS start at Daytona International Speedway, capturing a 5th-place finish.
This 5th-place finish marks a Top-5 in Karam's superspeedway debut.

CRC Brakleen will serve as the primary partner for Karam and the 26 team for multiple races throughout the 2024 season.

Crew Chief & Spotter Pairing:
Kris Bowen will serve as crew chief for Karam and the 26 team throughout 2024. Bowen joined Sam Hunt Racing following the 2022 season. In 2023, Bowen worked with a rotation of drivers as crew chief of the No. 24 GR Supra where he led the team to two Top-5 and four Top-10 finishes.
Nick Payne, multi-time NASCAR Cup Series winning spotter, rejoins Sam Hunt Racing as the full-time spotter for the No. 26 team.
In 2023, Payne was the primary spotter of the No. 24 team for Sam Hunt Racing.

“I’m really excited to get the season started with Sam Hunt Racing and CRC Brakleen in the No. 26 GR Supra. Anytime you can race at Daytona, it is definitely a special feeling, and I’m proud to have the opportunity to work with such a great team. Last time I ran at Daytona, I finished 5th, so I’m looking forward to going to a track I have some experience with. Hopefully we can start the year off on a high note and carry that momentum forward throughout the rest of 2024.”

— Sage Karam, Driver of the No. 26 CRC Brakleen GR Supra

“Daytona in February is an event like no other. The excitement heading into a new season, the crowd, the pressure, the unknowns. It’s always full of excitement and we couldn’t be better prepared to kick off our year with Sage Karam and the CRC Brakleen GR Supra. Sage needs to run a smart race, keep his nose clean, make smart moves and position himself at the end when it counts. If we can still be in the race when the white flag flies, I know we will have a shot.”

— Sam Hunt, Owner of Sam Hunt Racing
