Tickets for NASCAR’s Ford Championship Weekend go on-sale to the general public Monday, May 2. For the 10th consecutive year, Homestead-Miami Speedway will host NASCAR during Ford Championship Weekend. South Florida again will be the site where NASCAR crowns its Champions in all three of its top national divisions—the Sprint Cup, Nationwide and Camping World Truck Series— the weekend of Nov. 18-20, 2011.
Homestead-Miami Speedway is making it easier to enjoy NASCAR’s Ford Championship Weekend Nov. 18-20 with several new amenities. Here is a list of the great conveniences awaiting fans:
● Fan-Friendly Pricing – Kids 12 and under are FREE in general admission sections to both Friday’s Camping World Truck Series Championship and Saturday’s Nationwide Series Championship
● Half-Price Sunday – Kids 12 and under are admitted for half-price in reserved grandstands to Sunday’s Sprint Cup Championship
● Wider Seats – All of the grandstand seats have been widened to 21 inches while seats in the Speedway Club have been widened to 22 inches
● PayPal – Fans who purchase race tickets online at HomesteadMiamiSpeedway.com now have the option to submit payment via PayPal
● Credit Card Payments – Many concession stands at the track will accept major credit cards, including Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover (stands that accept credit cards will be marked)
● Flexible, Customizable Lay-Away Plans – Allows fans to pay in four installments with just 10% due at the time of purchase
● Exclusive Benefit for 3-day Package – Fans purchasing a 3-day package will have on-track access for the post-race celebration for all three Championship finales
● Ford 400 Start Time – 3 PM ET start to allow fans more time to enjoy at-track experience, including tailgating, interactive displays, on-track Pit Pass and pre-race ceremonies
● Saturday Qualifying – Sprint Cup qualifying moves from Friday to Saturday in 2011; catch Sprint Cup and Nationwide qualifying, followed by the Nationwide Series Championship Ford 300 featuring Danica Patrick
