The Homestead-Miami Speedway Community Outreach team will be appearing at more than 15 events throughout South Florida in the next five weeks prior to hosting Ford Championship Weekend (November 16-18). Each appearance will include interactive displays staffed by Homestead-Miami Speedway personnel and either the track’s specially-outfitted pace car or Carl Edward’s Aflac Ford No.99 NASCAR stock car.
Activities include the opportunity to win tickets to one of three races: The Friday, November 16, NASCAR Camping World Truck Series championship Ford EcoBoost 200; the Saturday, November 16, NASCAR Nationwide Series Ford EcoBoost 300; and the Sunday, November 17, season finale NASCAR Sprint Cup Series Ford EcoBoost 400. Fans that visit the Homestead-Miami Speedway display will also have the opportunity to purchase race tickets and win track-exclusive prizes.
“While Ford Championship Weekend draws fans from each of the 50 states and our races are broadcast to 125 countries, it’s still critical to showcase our biggest events right here in Miami,” said Homestead-Miami Speedway President Matthew Becherer. “We pride ourselves on being active participants in the community and we’re thrilled that we can help support these local events.”
