Kansas Speedway Staff Member Candidate for Leukemia and Lymphoma Society Man of the Year

Dear Friends and Family,

All too often we lose focus on what is truly important, so take a moment to focus on that one person who has a significant impact on your life. Now, try and imagine if they had to battle cancer, and the effect that would have on both of your everyday lives.

Over 700,000 Americans suffer from some form of blood cancer, and thousands more are diagnosed each year.  Kansas Speedway has chosen me to run for Kansas City’s “Man of the Year” on behalf of the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society.

Man & Woman of the Year candidates are professionals in a variety of fields, nominated to raise money for this charity. We will be competing against one another to raise funds that help fight leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin’s disease and myeloma. The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society is the world’s largest health organization dedicated to funding the services necessary for those diagnosed with these blood cancers.

Any donation, no matter how large or small, will assist me with supporting the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.  My personal goal is to raise more than $15,000 to contribute toward research and services that help cancer patients and their families win the fight against blood cancer.

To donate securely by credit card, please visit http://www.mwoy.org/mid/ , click on my profile and make your donation online. To donate by mail, please make checks payable to “The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society,” and send to my attention at Kansas Speedway, 400 Speedway Blvd., Kansas City, Kansas, 66111. Please make your contribution by April 20th, 2011 to ensure it goes toward my campaign.

Thank you for your time and help with this very worthy cause.

Warm Regards,
