No Limits Express Hits Highway To Thank Texas Motor Speedway Ticket Holders Prior To DXC Technology 600 Weekend

Texas Motor Speedway took to the highway on the No Limits Express bus Thursday afternoon to personally thank a select group of ticket purchasers and promote the upcoming June 6-8 DXC Technology 600 weekend.

Track President Eddie Gossage led the charge, handing out a swag bag filled with memorabilia, autographed items and other Texas Motor Speedway merchandise to each of five selected race fans.

 

“We stopped by to visit season ticket holders, PSL holders, and just saying hello and thanks,” said Gossage. “It’s fun to do this because you get caught up in their enthusiasm and their love of the sport. Some of them have been with the speedway since the very beginning, 23 seasons, so it’s great to hear their stories. They told me about the experiences they’ve had over the years and the fun they’ve had which really makes it enjoyable for us.”

 

The No Limits Express tour bus departed the speedway just before noon and made stops in Fort Worth, Grapevine, two stops in Keller and a final stop in Roanoke before returning to No Limits Texas.

 

“We just want them to know we appreciate them,” Gossage continued. “We work for the fans and have always said that. It’s great to hear them talk about how things have improved at the speedway over the years. Just to hear them say ‘I’ve been to this speedway and I’ve been to that speedway but they don’t hold a candle to Texas Motor Speedway.’ That makes you know you’re doing things right.

 

“They really are into NASCAR and INDYCAR … all the drivers, all the teams, all the owners and crew chiefs. They really know their stuff and, 23 years ago when we started, they didn’t know those things. They’ve become hard-core fans through the years because of Texas Motor Speedway and that’s really gratifying.”

The INDYCAR Series DXC Technology 600 is part of a doubleheader weekend that will also include the NASCAR Gander Outdoors Truck Series SpeedyCash.com 400.

 

Race week’s activities kick off June 6 at noon in the streets of downtown Fort Worth with the Cowtown Pit Stop Challenge presented by Speedy Cash. Two of the IndyCar Series’ top organizations, Chip Ganassi Racing and Team Penske’s will go head-to-head in a pit stop demonstration on W. 2nd Street between Taylor Street and Burnett Street. Team Penske will be represented drivers Simon Pagenaud, driver of the No. 22 DXC Technology sss, and Josef Newgarden, and Chip Ganassi Racing’s Scott Dixon, reigning series champion and winner of last year’s DXC Technology 600, and Felix Rosenqvist.
