Kansas offers a variety of options for fans to stay connected for the #STP400

Fans will be able to engage with Kansas Speedway in more ways than ever during the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series SFP 250 and NASCAR Sprint Cup Series STP 400 this weekend.  Social media will allow race fans easy access to important tips and updates, as well as unique glimpses behind the scenes.

Hashtags and Handles

Event hashtag #STP400 will be featured on several locations throughout property, including track walls and Pit Road.

-Join the conversation with Kansas Speedway, media, teams, and drivers on Twitter with @KansasSpeedway, @SFPinthefield, and @STPracing.

-Include race hashtags #SFP250, and #STP400.

FREE Mobile App

Download the free Kansas Speedway Mobile App, which gives race fans FREE access to daily schedules, gate policies, directions, basic event information, news articles and interactive GPS facility and parking maps with search capabilities. Fans can also stay up-to-date with Kansas’ Facebook, Twitter and YouTube feeds, as well as connect with and locate friends at the race via the “Friend Finder.” Download the mobile app to your Sprint® smart phone via Android Marketplace or the iTunes Store.

QR Codes

QR codes will be conveniently placed throughout Kansas Speedway that will link fans to the Kansas Speedway mobile app download, social media feeds, and a variety of interactive games.  Fans will be able to use the QR code reader on their Sprint smart phone to have instant access to this information.

Social Squad

Be on the lookout for the Kansas Speedway Social Squad. Social Squad members will interact with race fans and encourage them to share their race day experience through social media. The group will also assist fans in downloading the Kansas Speedway mobile app to their smart phone. Social Squad members will be surrounding the Racing 101 display in the Midway, as well as in Sprint FanWalk.

KSINFO

Fans can text KSINFO to 69050 to receive automatic updates during race weekend. Updates will be related to parking, race day activities, and more.

If any fan on property has specific questions, they will be able to text KSFAN to 69050 for assistance.
