Kentucky Speedway Welcomes New Partner Tunity

Kentucky Speedway has partnered with Tunity to add a year-round new feature on the speedways mobile app to make sure race fans won’t miss any of the July 13 Monster Energy Cup Series Quaker State 400 presented by Walmart.

When logging on to the Kentucky Speedway app and clicking the Tunity feature, it turns your smartphone into a temporary tuner for any TV by streaming the audio directly to your phone. The user scans a nearby TV and Tunity identifies the live video stream and synchronizes it with the audio feed, which is then streamed to the user’s smartphone.

“Our loyal fans are increasingly utilizing the Kentucky Speedway app, so we are thrilled to elevate the experience Tunity provides to our users,” said vice president of corporate partnership at Kentucky Speedway Matt Alexander.

Tunity will help race fans that are unable to attend the Quaker State 400 hear the race via their smartphone while in front of a muted TV at restaurants, gyms, bars, waiting areas, airports, and universities.

“Tunity is very involved in NASCAR through our relationship with Matt Tifft, and we’re very excited to improve the viewing experience of many new NASCAR fans through this partnership with Kentucky Speedway,” said Yaniv Davidson, CEO and founder of Tunity.

The 2019 season at Kentucky Speedway begins in July with the return of a NASCAR tripleheader weekend anchored by the Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series Quaker State 400 presented by Walmart on Saturday, July 13. The Gander Outdoors Truck Series Buckle Up in Your Truck 225 starts the weekend on Thursday, July 11 and the Xfinity Series Alsco 300 is Friday, July 12.
