ISM Raceway and USAA have partnered to honor Heroes in Arizona each month through their Hats Off to Heroes program. For the month of November and prior to the Can-Am 500 on Sunday, USAA and ISM Raceway will honor a Valley Hero Corey Patton during pre-race ceremonies and Patton will serve as Honorary Race Official.
Patton, an Infantry Fire Team Leader with the AZ National Guard, enlisted in the United States Army at age 19 as an Infantryman. Patton served from 2008 through 2017 with multiple deployments overseas. Today, Patton works in the finance industry with USAA.
"USAA is proud to sponsor The Hats Off to Heroes program and announce our new partnership with ISM Raceway,” said Gay Meyer of USAA. “The Hats Off to Heroes sponsorship demonstrates our deep commitment to support Veteran and Military Spouse Hiring across the country. Throughout the year, using local market and at-track media opportunities, the sponsorship will highlight the service of a USAA Veteran or Military Spouse. Please join us in our commitment to hiring those who have served."
The Hats Off to Heroes program will continue each month with ISM Raceway and USAA honoring a different veteran every month through social media and gift packages.
