XFINITY Series and Gander Outdoors Truck Series returns to MIS in 2019

Michigan International Speedway will host both the NASCAR XFINITY Series and NASCAR Gander Outdoors Truck Series in 2019. The XFINITY Series LTi Printing 250 is June 8 while the Gander Outdoors Truck Series Corrigan Oil 200 is scheduled for Aug. 10.

NASCAR’s most entertaining track will host a pair of Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series races in 2019. Michigan International Speedway will welcome the Monster Energy Series on June 9 and Aug. 11.

The Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series FireKeepers Casino 400 is on June 9. The series will return on Aug. 11 for the Consumers Energy 400.

The Gander Outdoors Truck Series Corrigan Oil 200 will serve as the cutoff race for the regular season. Drivers will have one final opportunity to make the playoffs in the truck race at MIS.

“It will be exciting to see the drivers from both the XFINITY Series and the Gander Outdoors Truck Series race at MIS in 2019,” MIS President Rick Brenner said. “We are excited to host the sport’s future stars as we continue to add value all weekend long. Next year will be full of memories on the track, in the fan plaza and in the campgrounds, making it a can’t miss at MIS.”

NASCAR will kick off the 2019 season with the DAYTONA 500. The 2019 DAYTONA 500 will be held on February 17 and will air live on FOX. Visit www.nascar.com for the full schedule.

The NASCAR races anchor a year’s worth of events that will continue to bring business and drive tourism in the state, helping to showcase all the great things the State of Michigan and all the track’s partners have to offer.

Tickets to the 2018 Monster Energy Consumers Energy on Aug. 12 start at $35. Children 12 and under are free on Friday and Saturday in August. On Sunday, children 12 and under tickets start at $15.  Children 12 and under can attend three days of NASCAR action for just $15, ensuring families a weekend of fun at affordable prices.

Sunday ticket holders can stick around on Saturday after the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series Corrigan Oil 200 for a free post-race concert featuring The Cadillac Three located behind Turn 3. In addition, the track will have entertainment in all the campgrounds starting Wednesday of race week. The fan plaza will feature a variety of entertainment all weekend.
